Older Work > unchurned

A participatory installation, unchurned draws upon specific aspects of traditional Hindu customs, emphasizing Nature's cyclical processes. Participants contributed to a rangoli drawing encircling an abstract entity made out of colored ghee that melted throughout three days. Individuals further transformed the entity by offering almonds, pomegranate seeds, rice, and marigolds.
